Sustainable entrepreneurship
Innergetic attaches great importance to ‘sustainability’. We strain every nerve to ensure sustainability in all our manufacturing processes, thus respecting humans and the environment.
The establishment of Latexco Solutions, in 1998, testifies to our environmental concern. This Latexco subsidiary converts our waste into new, profitable products that easily find their way to the insulation, packaging, agriculture and automotive industries and in upholstery.
In addition, Latexco has initiated a wastewater recycling project. Through a prize-winning damping technique (which won the Responsible Care Award of the Federation of the Chemical Industry) our wastewater is purified intensively, so that almost 95% can be reused.
A recent, independent study into the carbon footprint of Latexco products further demonstrates that our mattresses and pillows score better than their competitors. By using natural latex, we can significantly minimize energy consumption and CO2 emissions.
Moreover, Latexco resolutely chose to use 100% green energy (as certificated by our energy supplier).
We have installed solar panels too, recently.
