Innergetic. Sleep better.

Especially durable

Whether you sleep on your Innergetic mattress for two or eight years, there will hardly be a difference in thickness and hardness. Each mattress retains its superior qualities throughout its life span (ca. 10 years). Dynamic fatigue tests, which simulate a mattress’s life span in an accelerated manner, prove this fact.

Dynamic fatigue tests

The durability of a mattress core can be tested in a dynamic fatigue test, as prescribed in the European standard EN1957. This test simulates (in an accelerated way) the loading of a mattress throughout its life span (ca. 10 years). More specifically: a roller-shear with predetermined dimensions and a weight of 140kg is rolled 30,000 times up and down the mattress core. Afterwards, the thickness and hardness after 100 cycles are compared to the values after 30,000 cycles. The hardness is determined as the average incline at 210 Newtons (+ 21kg), 275 Newtons (+ 27.5kg) and 340 Newtons (+ 34kg) in the load deformation cycle (cf. hysteresis).

Tests conducted on the Innergetic mattress core by the renowned LGA Möbelprüfinstitut in Nuremberg (Germany) yielded baffling results: the core loses no more than 1% in hardness and 0.9 millimetres or 0.6% in thickness – resulting in a score of 100%.*

* For Latexco’s standard cores too, the scores of this dynamic fatigue test were impressively high.
