Club Brugge
Latexco, manufacturer behind the Innergetic brand, has been an official partner of the Club Brugge soccer team since 2011. We mainly support the team by offering Innergetic mattresses for the sleeping academy – a key pillar of Club Brugge’s Personal Performance Centre.
The Personal Performance Centre is a new initiative, established in 2011. At the centre, each player is coached individually: his condition, medical and technical aspects, his lifestyle, food pattern and mental approach are monitored and adapted, wherever needed. Professor Hespel, exercise physiologist and food expert at the Catholic University of Leuven (KUL), Belgium, follows up the players’ food pattern and their condition. His approach highlights the importance of ‘recovery’. Players are obliged to recover in sleeping rooms in between two training sessions. Each bed in the rooms is fitted with an Innergetic mattress, thus ensuring that the players are full of energy come the next match.
This initiative is being rolled out both in Belgium and abroad. In this way, Latexco and Club Brugge stress the importance of recovery and the role of a good mattress in this recovery process.
Club Brugge is Flanders’ main sports brand. The partnership is, therefore, a great way to strengthen our brand name.
