About Innergetic
Learn what Innergetic does for your sleeping comfort…
At night, we all want to enjoy a well-earned rest. But we forget that we're constantly moving all night. Studies have shown that we turn over in bed around 60 times a night. The well-earned night's rest isn't as restful as we think. The Innergetic mattress core ensures that during the night we spend much less energy tossing and turning in bed. So we get energy back as it were, during our sleep. The reduced energy absorption of the mattress core ensures that you can change position much more easily during your sleep. Unhindered movement is a necessary precondition for a refreshing night's rest and more energy on waking.

The energy returned to the sleeper by the mattress core is determined by the hysteresis curve. A stamp is driven into the mattress core, with a maximum force of 1000 Newton (corresponding to a body weight of around 100 kg), then gradually released. The force needed to make a specific indentation is plotted on a force-way diagram, producing a banana-shaped curve. The smaller the area between the loading and unloading curves – the more slender the banana - the less energy is absorbed by the mattress core and the more energy is available to help the sleeper change his posture. Energy return should be balanced with sufficient dampening, reason for which a minimum degree of hysteresis is required. Latexco has developed a latex foam which loses 25 to 30% less energy than today's standard latex foam cores.
It is important for comfort that the mattress core initially feels soft and then offers increasing resistance on further depression. A measure of this property is the comfort index, also known as the SAG factor, which is also derived from the hysteresis curve. The SAG factor is the ratio between the force necessary to depress the mattress core 65% with a defined punch, and the force necessary for a depression of 25%. The higher this index, the better the mattress (core) supports the body.
The Innergetic mattress core has an extremely high comfort index of 5. For comparison: the SAG factor for normal polyether mattresses is around 2 and for sprung HR foam (HR = High Resilience) around 3*.
Standard cores in latex foam offer a better result with a score of around 4. *Fechiplast, Useful facts for your sitting and sleeping comfort, s.d., p. 11.
One of the most important parameters for a good night's rest is the comfort we experience on the mattress. It's difficult to imagine that you move around in bed at night and your body isn't as comfortable on the mattress. It is important for our sleep comfort that the mattress core initially feels soft, but still gives us the necessary support when depressed further so that the spinal column remains perfectly straight when lying on your side, and has the correct natural curvature when lying on your back. Thanks to its optimum comfort index, Innergetic offers the ideal solution. This index is up to 2.5 times higher than some other mattress cores!
Durability means quality! We guarantee our customers a mattress core which returns energy during sleeping, and offers increased comfort but is also durable. Various tests have shown that the Innergetic mattress core NEVER loses quality during its life. The good feeling you get after the first night's sleep on an Innergetic core will remain. There is a good reason why the Innergetic core scores a maximum of 100 out of 100 in a dynamic fatigue test! In human terms, this means that you get no sag on the Innergetic mattress core and the unique properties are retained throughout the life span* of the mattress.
